Institute of Marketing and Rastor -group is Finland’s largest private sector institute for adult and further education. They moved from Töölö and Kallio to a new space in Tapiola, Espoo. The change from an old office space to a modern learning environment required a major renovation. The starting point for the change was to create an inspirational and flexible learning environment for future needs.
The fast-moving project was designed in close co-operation with the user groups. The new facility is used by hundreds of students per day and includes efficient training facilities, comfortable cafes, and more informal learning and networking “living rooms”. Different working opportunities have been taken into account; in the same space you can study eg. standing, sitting or lounging on the couch. The cozy, colorful and inviting learning environment has received a lot of praise from both students and the staff.
